Today is National Quilting Day!

The National Quilting Association has said so! ;-)
They offer a nice free pattern for a block called Welcome Home, which is sporting a pieced house in the block's center surrounded by a star and Four-Patch design.
To get a printable copy of the pattern, go check it out.

Sadly I will not be doing anything quilt related today…;-(
Will have to make up for that later!!
Look forward to cruising your blogs to see what you all got done though!!
Here is another one of my Favs from the MAQ Show. Just love the color and FUNK of it!!!

  1. Daughter and granddaughter here for the weekend, so no quilting here, either. (My sewing room is the little one's bedroom when she is here.) Thanks for the free NQA pattern...I've bookmarked the page and will print it during the week.

  2. Thanks for the "heads up" on NQD. I guess I'll head for the sewing room. I could use some quilting time.

  3. I'll be piecing "Bloomin' Steps". Hope to get the center section 80 blocks sewn together by tomorrow evening...doubt it but my goal!! Suppose to have that section done by six Monday night's class.

  4. I'd love to have that funky quilt hanging in my room! You can't be down with all that sunshine looking at you every day. Zoweeee.
Thanks for the link to the pattern.

  5. Happy National Quilting Day to you! With a bit of luck (and time management) I may well sew something today. Nice quilt!

  6. Thanks for the free pattern. Also, I want to tell you how much I love the pot holder tutorial. I have made 2 so far. I love them.

  7. I have been sick with the virus, so that is my excuse for no quilting, but I would have been sewing if I was feeling alright.
    Thanks for the pattern!
