Yummy-ness
Oh yes this is for sure some delish yummy-ness.
A Spice Cake with pecans.
Oh so spice filled with sweet cream cheese frosting.
This is DH's version of yummy-ness.
He is enjoying it to.
Now here is my version of Yummy-ness!!
1 yard cuts of delish fabrics.
Remember I posted about a sale here.
Well this is my loot!!
WANDAMUS!
Had a good long weekend with DH. He had off Monday too.
We did some things around home then went to visit our son.
While in Chesapeake we did a bit of shopping too.
Sunday was a 'wash out day'.. yes rained and rained.
Expecting more of that next 3 days as well...call me water logged!!;-)
Yesterday I went for my procedure.
Have some after effects I am dealing with but nothing major .
Just a few more days on soft foods then back to normal eating. YES!
Sure hoping this will give me some relief from the discomfort with swallowing.
I am ready to move on now...;-)
Loads I want to do in the sewing department!!
Need to be two of me...;-)
I have been busy on a project.
I hope to share it soon.
Well really two projects...so hope to have pics soon.
Hope all have had a great week so far!!!
Hugs!!!

I think I just gained 5 lbs from looking at that cake. Yummy....
ReplyDeleteI"m glad your procedure is done and you should be back to normal food soon. What a CAKE!!! Woo-hoo!!! I agree with what Tonya said!!! LOL And....your fabric haul is great. I think I see some Pat Sloan fabrics in there.
ReplyDeleteFabric and cake... doesn't get more gooder than this...LOL!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear all went well. Hope you heal quickly.
Lots of yumminess! I think I'd take the fabric over the cake, though; it won't cause me to gain 10 lbs!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you're feeling a bit better. I hope things get back to normal for you. I hate to hear you're under the weather!
Stay warm and dry (send that rain here to get rid of our snow - it's snowing again today. sigh.)
xo
That is my DH's favorite cake too - with penuche icing!
ReplyDeleteLike you, I'll take the other yummyness.
Hope you are well enough soon to spend lots of hours sewing.
Both versions of yummy-ness look good to me! Yum!
ReplyDeleteOops, I was so excited by the yummy-ness that I forgot to tell you that I'm glad to hear that your procedure is over and that you're on the road to recovery! Feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteOh the cake is so yummy looking and here I am TRYING not eat yummy things.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the fabrics because they last longer.
Pleased to hear you are getting better.
Yes...on both accounts...lots of yumminest!!
ReplyDeleteOh yum, spice cake with cream cheese frosting, I really can't think of anything else right now, give me a moment! Am glad your procedure went well too.
