Finished a Top

No not of the quilt kind;-)!
This cute number was easy to make and fun to wear.
Has pleats in front and back.
Simplicity #4176

I wore with my rolled jean capris.
Yes that is cutie Marmalade Kitty in the pic too.
Have another summer dress cut out.
Hope to get that sewed up soon.

Lots of doctor appts going on now through next month.
These include the dreaded colonoscopy then some toe surgery, first up right big toe.
Will have to begin piling up handwork for being off my feet!!
Last Friday was skin doctor. He blistered up my nose and a place on my hand!
Monday was eye exam. New spectacles coming!
Lord only knows what waits in store at the dental appt!
I do Declare!!

  1. Colonoscopy is no big deal. The prep work is the worst part, but really it's not too bad.

I've got a couple skin spots I need taken care of. This aging thing is for the birds...

    Why don't birds get colonoscopies?

  5. That looks like a comfortable top too.

You have my sympathy with the upcoming Dr. appts. It's a real drag, isn't it?

  10. Your top is really cute. I've not made clothes in ages....but used to make nearly all my stuff as well as the clothes for my two girls. As for the appointments, I hate all that stuff but I"m coming round to my dreaded colonoscopy, too, at the end of the summer and have my mammogram at the end of this week.

  16. Your top is darling. I have not sewn a garmet since high school and I despised it. Hmmm... has me thinking. Thanks for the inspiration but, I will likely remain an admirer!

a question...with all these "wunny-full" Doc appts, are you taking any handworks to work on? Cause, I'm thinkin' you'd be gettin' lots done...with so many visits =)

I'm glad there are no bad reports...here's to your good health!
