Love this pic!
I am auditioning things in the pie safe.
The linens have not been pressed yet.
Drawer is back in but not in this pic.
Will not be putting my antique quilts in quite yet though.
If I put any textiles in will have to be on the top inside shelf.
DH loves how it looks so that is a good reason to just go with it as is.
Maybe it was meant to live in dining room and not the sewing room after all!!!
It looks wonderful! Thank you for signing up as a follower to my blog. I am now following you too!

I think it looks beautiful, and the dishes are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect Lola! The dishes look like they were always meant to be there. I have a very old pie safe hutch in the basement of all places, it came over from Germany with Ken's family. I want it upstairs so I can refinish it, leave it to Ken though, he's got tools and junk in it. It really angers me, it's an heirloom.
ReplyDeleteOh wow....maybe you are right...no sewing room for that...just lovely.
ReplyDeleteWoo-hoo! Fabulous piece ... love the setting & what you are using it for.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely summer's eve ~

Looks really nice! Looks like made for the china. Maybe after a while it will move to sewing room.
ReplyDeleteWhere ever it goes - it sure is cute.
ReplyDeleteIt is PERFECT set up that way!!! (Of course, you could have it spend part of the year in the dining room and part of the year in the sewing room! LOL)
ReplyDeleteHi Lola,
ReplyDeleteIt sure looks good where it is and appears to have been made to house dishes. I think your husband may be right on this one!
Valerie
What a beautiful way to display your dishes!

I love your pie safe. I buy things and they move from place to place. The hutch I bought for my mother's china now resides in the studio and holds my grandfather's clock and lots of fabric. ;-)
