Project Wallet Details

It is a bit over 10 inches wide open and 5. 5 inches closed up.
Has 6 pockets.
I cut my rose fab and batting, quilted it.
Next to the lining added pockets of folded over fabrics to fit which I added the fancy stitch to on my older Singer.
Stitched the single line to create small pockets on the left.
Layered all, right sides facing, adding the loop for button, sewed up , turned.
Pressed and stitched around edges to close turning opening.
Sewed a long line down middle to help it fold plus create the large pockets on right.

Our dear Pat wanted to see stuff in it...;-)

Here is some stuff I will put in it, still not full.
Floss, linen square, needle carrier , small scissors.

*
Okay here it is with the stuff inside. I left the black floss out so you can see the size of that pocket. I stuck a needle through on right side pocket.

*

By the way the little basket is 5.5 square.
Also Susan took the TUT off her blog.
You can go there and read about that.

*

See this cute lil needle keeper?
A gal ,many ,many moons ago painted these and gave them to all in the quilters group.
Still love and use him!!
Thanks Sue!

This is the stitchery I am doing in dark red floss for my daughter.

Wee bit o sew'n...

...was done Thursday.
Deb was suppose to come over but she is not feeling well.
So I just went on doing what we were going to do.
Made this small quilted fabric basket and a smallish 'project' quilted wallet, my own light bulb idea.;-)
The basket is a TUT here.

A pretty rose print fabric with a green lining.

Inside there are 2 layers of pockets. It looks wonky on the end but it isn't!
Think the button had it bunched up. Yes I did trim those threads too! Ha!
It can hold a folded stitchery, floss and small scissors, etc.

I also worked more in my room, sorting. Here is my 'helper' Cocoa.
She was keep'n an eye out for more of those horrid dust bunnies.
She loves this one open window.

We have eggplants still coming on so been doing lots of recipes.
This is a Ratatouille. No cute Rat came to help me either...;-)
We still have different kinds of peppers to use too.
Most of the garden is over pretty much.

Cut'in Day

Yes that is a Pecan Tart missing a piece.
Haa Haa! DH baked this last Sunday. Was yummy.
We shared it so NO did not eat it all ourselves!
I just forgot to share it with you all....;-)

A pile of projects here.
All cut out!
As I go through some of the fabric in my room I am cutting it into different sizes and shapes.

This will make for easier storage plus I can grab them up to use for a project!
No, not all my fabric stash will get cut up!!
Here I see some pot holders with the lime fab.
Some of the older holiday fabs here will become runners.
Okay back to work.

This has to be one of my most enjoyable days this year!

Christmas will be here in no time from now!

Time for a nice cup of tea.
My niece D introduced me to this one.
It is not one I would have bought to try myself.
I was surprised that I am enjoying it!!
Called Chai.
She tried it at Starbucks and liked it.

I finally made up my mind on my fabs for LindaB's Birthday Siggy Blocks.
All cut out ready to write my info on and sew up.
