Grandson Zavier

Loves his hair long!;-)

Ready to hunt something!!

Zavier is 11 years old.

Cute lil red head with Grandma’s blue eyes!

He loves to hunt and fish.

Will wear his camo outfits till they wear out!;-)

All I can tell you now is his tumor is malignant an involved with his lower spin.

Lots of nerves there and it also is causing some problems with his kidney.

He has had 2 rounds of chemo.

Doctors spoke of radiation this week.

Daughter and her husband are waiting on the meeting today with the group of doctors on Zavier’s case to see how they will proceed.

Still trying to identify what kind of cancer it is and if there are anymore tumors.

Right now it is just waiting on info to plan when we will leave for Nashville.

Daughter’s home is well over an hour and a half away from Nashville.

So we have to get a room near hospital with transport to hospital.

We also have some issues here to resolve before we can hit the road.

I wish I could just fly out right now and make it all better, but have to be patient!!

There are 5 other children in the family to consider also.

Nearby family and friends plus church has stepped into help.

What a blessing it is to be surrounded by such kind and caring folks!

I thank you all so very much for all the kind thoughts, prayers and cards!

Zavier is more coherent now and will enjoy receiving them I am sure!

All we can do is take it day by day.

Even though it is so very hard.

Once again thanks so very much!

Hugs,

Lola(Grandma D)

PS

On top of this we had bad storms, tornadoes come through around here!

We are so very lucky as just a couple miles up the road from us it is a mess.

Roads closed and some homes destroyed.

Keep all the folks who are suffering in some way because of all the storms in your thoughts and prayers as well!

  17. I'm wishing all the best for Zavier, your Daughter, you and your whole family. This type of thing touches every member so I'm sending out positive thoughts for all.

Just out of curiosity, are you looking at alternative cancer treatments too?

  19. O Grandma -
I KNOW the stork took that baby to the wrong house with all that beautiful red-hair to match mine. I just never could figure out how that stork could be so misplaceful! He is definitely beautiful-probably the wrong word to use for a young man, but he is so cute he took my breath away.

My heart just breaks for the horrible things that you and your family are facing.I will keep you all in my prayers.
