After Christmas

Ok so this AM I had what was left of the Christmas morning breakfast casserole. Left ya some crumbs to see!;-)
Grill toasted with butter, a piece of DH's raisin bread.
 Was very yummy indeed.

This was the big Christmas morning breakfast. OH MY GOODNESS! Yes will need to go back on starving diet for a month in New Year!

So cleaned up kitchen, stripped  sheets and made up bed fresh.

Took shower with  new Santa sweet smelling stuff. Ready to go!
Well may be not so much !!! Sigghhh...think I will just save this for next week instead!
We did go out in the horrid weather yesterday. Had to restock the gift wrapping station!
Buy some gifts for next year. Was not as many folks out at 6AM as you would have thought! Was some good buys.  We came home just in time before bottom fell out!  If it had been snow we would have had near 3 inches!

Here is my Santa Baby on Christmas morn! Was so happy to have his new robe and slippers!
Kids loved all their goodies too!!
A pair of cuties I received! Love them! So pretty!
We had a very nice Christmas. Always feel so blessed at the end of the day. Sweet time with those we love, thoughtful gifts and plenty of good food!

We are off to visit Aunt Dot tomorrow. Have not seen her since she returned to NC after the service for Uncle Ollie. She sounds very excited we are finally coming! So will load up the big blue sleigh (truck) and head on down for the day.

Hoping to have a few folks in for Old Christmas Day on Jan 6th. I do not plan to take my decorations down till after that. Was so late in getting them up would like to enjoy them a tad longer anyway!

DH is off till Jan 2nd. So after that we go back on normal time....well normal for us!

Then I will tackle the sewing room mess!!!!!!

Take care and wishing all a Very Happy New Year!

  2. MMMmm, I love Raisin Bread. My Granny made wonderful raisin bread. I have a sewing/craft room that looks quite similar to yours right now.
