Fun with Bonnie Hunter

What a joy and a delight Bonnie is!
Very approachable and down to earth.
Just such fun to be around!
Bonnie makes the class feel more like a sit and sew bee rather than a 'class'.
She shares her experiences along with tips and you can ask whatever you like.
If you have the chance to be able to do one of her classes, go for it, you will not be disappointed.
There were 15 gals in this session...I think.

We are setting up our work stations.
Alice on left from Suffolk, Va, Robin at end from Arlington ,VA and her sister Stacey from Hampton, VA.
We had a fun time all sewing together.
Sadly I could only do this one day, busy weekend.
Next one I may plan for all 3 days!
I have to say the event and facility, was wonderful.
The 3 quilt shops who set up this Quilting and Sewing Expo did a grand job.
One of which is my fav shop, Bella's Fabrics .
Smithfield, Va put on a great show with nice weather along with loads of activities.
Since I live in Isle of Wight County did not have far to go to town.

Here is Alice with her glamor shot with Bonnie!!
Yes our Bonnie is a tall cool drink of water!!!

Here is ME!;-)
Just had a ball!

Gals working diligently!Me??
Taking pics of course...;-)

We did get a lot done in a day that begin Friday at 12:30 went till 6:30pm.

Here are my Fall scrap fabric blocks.
I have finished 4 more since this pic.
Still thinking on my settings and such.
I love it myself!!

This was first Show and Tell.
One of the gals teaching made this one up before the expo.
It is soft and pretty.

Here is one very vibrant.
She had also done some blocks before class.

Another great one.
Also done before the class.
So many different fabrics folks used.
Each one was different and really unique to the individual.

Bonnie also shared some of her work with us.
A few I took pics of but can not share with you yet as they are due out in mags later this year and early next year.
This is her current travel and quilt project.
Stunning!

Bonnie loves the blues and whites/neutrals.
Most of the quilts she shared were in this color range.
BEAUTIFUL!

This one she made up of blocks shared with her, a swap I believe.
Think she made it work out fine don't you!?!

Bonnie's hubby came up with her on this trip.
Don't ya love this shot??? ;-)
He was the only fella there at the closing of the day speech.

As I said it was a delightful day with delightful folks.
I bet you all would enjoy it as well.
So check with Bella's to see if we are going to have one again next year and book it baby!!!

Will share my Pineapple Blossom top as soon as I have it all stitched up.
Thanks for popping by!!!
