Show Us Your Rooster Blog Party 2!

Welcome to the Show Us Your Rooster Blog Party!
It is being hosted by Barb of Bella Vista!
Click on the link to check out a list of others showing off their Rooster Decor!

Most of my barn yard fellas, along with a few gals, hang out in our dining room.
There are a few sneaking into the kitchen as well.;-)

May seem like they would over take the room but really they do not.
Most of these were gifts to me.
My DH, my son, my sweet Mama and my dear pal Brenda could
just pick out the right ones for me!
Have not purchased any new ones in a while.
Happy with these for now.

They all live up high on the old oak cupboard.

This one is a teapot.
A gift from an online friend.
A couple are antique ones from DH's Granny Belle too.

This is really three canisters.
Holds my teas;-)

Cute stack of painted boxes.
One side says just GOOD MORNING..other says NOT SO GOOD MORNING!!
Bought these at a gift shop called Knot Hole Station. Love it there.

Even the light fixtures get in on it!

This lamp was another gift from a dear friend.
She sent the old spool to another friend for her to paint the rooster on it!

I used some of the leftover toile from the window valance and put in this old cupboards doors.

This big bronze fella was from Santa one year!
He moves around some.
He also likes it on the hearth in winter!;-)

I liked this pewter and wood fella a lot.
He was not working well as a cutting board so he just rules over the cook top now!
We have a few more roosters and hens here and there but they can wait for another party!
Hope you enjoyed the tour!
Thanks for coming by!
Hugs,
Lola

  11. Oh, Lola, I was just on my way to bed when I decided to visit your blog for the rooster party just because I thought perhaps you'd have your post up. I'm so happy I did. What a dreamy, cozy, lovely room you have. I love the colors of your dining room. Totally beautiful and romantic. I think it's gorgeous. Just the kind of beautiful I love. I will be visiting here again to look more closely at your roosters and your photos after a good night's rest.

I hope you have a beautiful night, Susan
